We partnered with CheckUP to produce a documentary highlighting the impact of their Outreach Program across regional and remote Queensland. The initiative brings allied health, GP, specialist, and nursing services to communities where access to healthcare is often limited, helping people receive care closer to home.
Filmed across multiple locations, the project brought together patient experiences, provider perspectives, and local healthcare voices to demonstrate the real-world value of Outreach services. The film was developed to support advocacy and funding discussions at a federal level, while also communicating the importance of sustained healthcare access for rural and remote communities.
Through authentic storytelling and observational footage, the production focused on capturing genuine moments of care, connection, and collaboration between providers and the communities they serve.

Project Approach
Filming took place across regional Queensland, requiring a flexible production approach to work within limited timeframes and the availability of healthcare providers and community participants. The focus was on capturing authentic experiences while remaining respectful to the environments and communities involved.
Interviews and observational footage were used to build a narrative that reflected both the operational scale of the Outreach Program and its personal impact. By combining patient stories with provider perspectives and on-the-ground healthcare delivery, the film aimed to communicate the broader importance of sustained access to care in rural and remote locations.
Outcome
The finished film was used by CheckUP as part of its advocacy and funding communications, helping to demonstrate the value and impact of Outreach services across rural and remote Queensland. The video continues to support broader communication efforts by providing a clear and human-centred view of how the program operates within the communities it serves.
